Carpet Cleaning Reminder Postcards
CleanCraft has developed
“Reminder Postcards” to help bring
in repeat work. Reminder postcards are
basically postcards that remind the customer that it is time for their next
cleaning. Whether you send the cards
out at 6 months, 1 year, or some other time frame, it is up to you.
Every professional cleaning company should be sending out
reminder cards. No matter how good you
are, some customers still forget who cleaned their home a year ago!
CleanCraft’s “Reminder” postcards are filled
with pictures representing the services your company offers. Not only does it remind the customer to
schedule repeat work, but the pictures also show some of the other services you
offer.
Here is how we recommend using the Reminder Postcards:
- Place 12 boxes marked with each month in a safe
location. (ie. Boxes marked:
“January”,
“February”, … all the way to “December”).
- After you are done with work each day, write out
each customer’s address that you did that day on a Reminder Postcard.
- Place the Reminder Postcard in the box marked 11
months out from today’s date. (ie.
Today
is 8/12/15, put the filled out postcard in the “July” box – notice 11 months
out).
- You will mail a whole month’s worth of Reminder Postcards
once a month.

Here is an example of how you send the Reminder Postcards
out:
Let's say today is October 15, 2016, and you are going to send
November Reminder Postcards out today.
You go to the “November” box and pour out all the Reminder
Postcards.
Notice, these are all the
jobs you did in November 2015 (about a year ago).
You already pre-filled out the customer’s information
on all the Reminder Postcards a year ago when you did the job, so all you need
to do now is place postcard stamps on the Reminder Postcards and mail out.
Notice, our example above doesn’t have you mailing reminders
every day.
Doing it once a month makes
it easy for you to make sure the process is getting done correctly.
You won’t be missing customers here and
there. Plus, it keeps you disciplined in doing it.
Postcard Stamps:
Notice, our Reminder Postcards meet the USPS size guidelines for
“postcard stamps.”
These are cheaper
than normal stamps.
As of August 2015,
they are $0.35 ea.
So, save some money
and go to your local US Post Office and ask for some “postcard stamps.”
